Berkeley Economic Review, UC Berkeley’s premier undergraduate economics journal, is now accepting submissions for its Undergraduate Essay Contest! This semester, we have picked a federal-level current event issue that all undergraduate students can write about. We will publish the best submission in this semester’s issue of our magazine!
Our prompt for this semester is: “Given the rising prominence of cryptocurrencies, there have been concerns raised over the use of digital assets. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrencies. Should the US government enact more regulations on the establishment and the trade of cryptocurrencies?”
By writing one of the top responses, you will:
- Have your work published in the Fall 2021 Issue of Equilibrium
