The Berkeley Economic Review is UC Berkeley’s premier, student-run and student-produced, undergraduate economics journal. Through our three main forms of output, our annual peer-reviewed journal, semesterly magazine, and regularly published online articles, we produce a consistent flow of professional quality economic media throughout the year.
To keep all the gears turning, we employ a wide variety of students, from an extensive range of disciplines. Our expansive selection of roles, from quantitative economic writer to layout designer, ensures that the Berkeley Economic Review is the perfect place for all current economics majors to truly activate and practice their passion for the field, as well as for aspiring economics majors, seeking to build the developmental skills needed to prosper as they pursue the major.
Every weekly meeting fosters robust economic breakdowns of current events, helping to realize many of the theoretical concepts that our members examine in their classes. Additionally, our strong alumni network opens the door for significant academic and industry opportunities, as well as helpful insights and advice, ensuring positive professional development among our members.
If you are interested, please apply! We will be opening our application in the coming weeks.
